Biography
Patricia Freres is known for her wide vocal range. Her repertoire reaches from classical to romantic opera, encompasses current experimental music theatre and extends to scenic song cycles. In addition to various theatrical and musical productions, Patricia Freres has reached a meaningful concert activity with her songs and arias programs. Furthermore, she convinced audience and critics in multiple leading parts with vocal expressiveness.
Recently, she enacted G. Puccini's character of Cio Cio San in the Opera "Madama Butterfly" at the Greek Opera Festival in Thessaloniki.
Backed by the Grammy nominated chamber ensemble from the "Deutsche Oper Berlin", she portrayed Manon from G. Puccini's "Manon Lescaut" in the series of "Opera Pasticcio".
This July, Patricia Freres sang the role of Joan of Arc as part of the before mentioned series.
