Duo Luxcello's repertory goes from classical over pop music to typical wedding programs. The duo consists of cellist Anik Schwall and Béatriz Jiménez, who perform together on a regular base and know each other for a very long time.
Beatriz Jiménez studied cello at the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville de Luxembourg, hold a Master's Degree from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and a Pedagogic Master's Degree from Conservatoire Royal de Mons. Originally being from Spain, Béatriz moved to Luxembourg as a child. Béatriz additionally holds a deuxième prix for viola from the Conservatory of Luxembourg. view full profile
Anik Schwall studied at the Conservatoire d'Esch-sur-Alzette, at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and finished with a Master's Degree at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. She was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestrea for ten concert tours and played in halls like the Carnegie Hall in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Konzerthaus in Berlin. In summer 2018, Anik was chosen to participate the Grafenegg Academy Orchestre (A). Anik is currently based in Luxembourg. view full profile
