- 1er prix au conservatoire d'Ettelbruck en hautbois (oboe)
- Student (2nd year) in IMEP Namur
Very early in my life I got in touch with classical music as my parents were both musicians . As a young boy I first started to learn the percussion but soon realised I was mainly attracted by the oboe. I was 7 when I had my first contact with that instrument . My teacher was at that time Eric Douchy but when he left Luxemburg for living in Switzerland I was lucky enough to have another good teacher Thomas Dewez nowadays chargé de cours in the conservatoire of Echternach and Ettelbruck where I succeeded in my Premier Prix de hautbois. In the conservatoire of Ettelbruck I am a member of l'orchestre symphonique des jeunes where I realised how self satisfying it was to play with other musicians. I thefore participated in various seminars for the orchestra ( Eifel-Ardennen under the leading of Martin Elmquist) and for the oboe with Sylvain Cremer ( International Academy of Music in Dinant). Last year I completed my first year as a student of Sylvain Cremer ( first oboe in the orchestre philharmonique de Liège) in the IMEP in Namur. I intend to go on with my Bachelor and my Master in Oboe and expect to enter the Musique Militaire Luxembourgeoise very soon.
